Scientific interests
• Geodiversity – goals and methods of inanimate nature of valorisation, methods of geodiversity protection and promotion, opportunities to use geodiversity in geotourism;
• Geotourism – scientific basis of geotourism, new research methods, assessment of the geotouristic potential of objects and areas, methods of geology interpretation for the needs of various types of recipients, geo-educational materials in geotourism, ways of geotouristic development;
• Geoparks – creation and functioning of the UNESCO geoparks, goals and tasks of the UNESCO geoparks, activity within the EGN, GGN, APGN networks, procedures for creating and functioning of a national geoparks (with special regard to Poland), the importance of geoparks in the development of geotourism, geodiversity protection and regional development;
• Geoconservation – protection of inanimate nature and geological heritage in national and international terms;
• Reserves of inanimate nature as objects of protection, education and promotion of geotourism;
• Stone used in architecture, construction and art as a geotourist object;
